Yevgehiya Libkhen

Yevgeniya Libkhen (Jenny) launched her "Health Is A Gift" practice in Los Angeles, CA in 2007. Solely referral based, her current clientele is spread across the globe. She is working with clients from across the United States as well as from Germany, Russia, Israel, and Canada. As of September 2009, "Health Is A Gift" is based in Elkridge, MD.

Yevgeniya Libkhen received her degree of Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health from Maryland University of Integrative Health in Laurel, Maryland.  Her undergraduate studies were at Clayton College of Natural Health in Birmingham, Alabama.  She has graduated with Highest Honors with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Holistic Nutrition and Herbology Specialization.

Yevgeniya is a Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) and a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS®).

To deepen her knowledge and stay in-step with the latest research, Yevgeniya regularly attends various continuing education seminars. Among those attended are Mastering the Thyroid, Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis, Functional Endocrinology, Neurotransmitters and Brain by Apex Energetics. She is also a QRA practitioner trained by Dr. Robert Marshall, PhD, CEO of Premier Research Labs.  Yevgeniya is certified in FLT
TMand is a certified 5x5 Weight Loss™ instructor. Recently, Yevgeniya had the privilege to attend a seminar on cardiovascular health lead by Dr. Mark Houston, the director of The Hypertension Institute of Nashville and author of What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About(TM): Hypertension: The Revolutionary Nutrition and Lifestyle Program to Help Fight High Blood Pressure.  

In addition to her consulting practice, Yevgeniya Libkhen is an avid cook. Both of her passions health and food collide to yield and amazing array of original dishes with various authentic touches that are delicious, easy to prepare, and healthy.

Yevgeniya has founded Creative Meals, a culinary program that had a successful start at a Los Angeles wellness center and spread through the greater Los Angeles area. Her cooking classes were an essential part of a series of weight loss programs in the South Bay Area. Yevgeniya also made several appearances as a guest instructor at ChefMakers - a Los Angeles based cooking school. 

She continues to welcome clients on their culinary adventure to health on the East Coast.  Her venues include private cooking parties and community events, graduate school cooking labs and children’s cooking school, integrative medical offices, just to name a few.

Another aspect of Yevgeniya's career is contributing her zeal and knowledge for health to the local community.

While in California, she taught health and nutrition at a local school to kids ages 6-16 and worked closely with school and community officials to implement a healthy nutrition plan for school meals. She, also, has been the staff nutritionist for Los Angeles rhythmic gymnastics club and has planned and executed the menu for the club's summer camps.

Since her relocation, Yevgeniya has been very active in her new home community.  She holds healthy cooking classes and presentations regularly as part of Women’s Cooking Circle, has made appearances with the Friendship Circle-an organization supporting children with special needs and their families, and plays an active role in the local camp programs as well as synagogue events through the Maryland; Washington, D.C.; and Virginia area.

Yevgeniya is a member of the American Holistic Health Association.
